Navigating insurance can be confusing at times. Here are some commonly asked questions:
Which insurances do you accept?
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Ambetter
Self-pay is also an option
What is a deductible? The deductible is an amount of money the client is responsible for meeting before their insurance begins to pay for a claim.
What is a copay? A copay is a fixed amount of money that the client (beneficiary) is responsible for at each visit after meeting their deductible. This is in addition to the the payment made by the insurer.
How do I know what my copay and deductible are? You can contact your insurance provider to find this information out. Most insurances have a number on the back of the card that connects you to a case manager or website to provide you with this information.
***LATE CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY:
A cancelled appointment effects three people: you, your therapist, and another client who could have potentially utilized your time slot. When scheduling a therapy session, you are reserving time exclusively for clients. When a session is cancelled without adequate notice, we are unable to fill this time slot by offering it to another client, a client on the wait list, or a client with a clinical emergency and we are unable to bill your insurance company for sessions that are not kept. Therefore, there is a $100 fee charged to the card on file for appointments late cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time or or no-showed within 15 minutes of appointment time. Please message Julie directly via Spruce with your cancellation as soon as possible.
